Our newest one day course is a glorious day of learning several new crafts in a relaxed and beautiful workspace in Clovelly. I absolutely love all kinds of fibre arts and wanted to share my favourites with you in our gorgeous space.  This one day course teaches the basics of needle felting where you will learn how to shape and create a simple item using lots of lovely coloured roving. 
Then we will learn a variety of common embroidery stitches to make a beautiful framed embroidered picture.  We will also learn about hand applique which will give you more skills to be able to make a mixed media art project.

This one day course starts at 10.00am where you will have a welcome drink and a chat with your fellow attendees.  We will start by learning how to use the needle felting tools and the types of wool and move on to learn how to shaped the wool and combine different colours with the needle to create a beautiful object to take home with you.  We will have a lunch break with Jacket potato and a choice of fillings and then learn different embroidery stitches to make a hoop wall hanging.  Then we will learn how to do simple needle turn hand applique which you can add to your wall hanging with.

Afternoon tea and cake and lots of time to sit and relax while you learn 3 skills in one day!
