Beginners Dressmaking

Learning to make your own clothes is a wonderful skill and a way to use up fabric you may have or create the clothes that fit your shape.  This is a 1 day introduction to some basic techniques needed to begin your dressmaking journey.  You will learn how to make a simple no pattern skirt that can be adapted easily and made in an hr.  You will also make a pair of PJ bottoms using a pattern which you will be able to take with you.  You will learn how to cut, pin, sew, hem and make elasticated waists and go home with your creations and class notes.
We have new Janome Sewing Machines or you are welcome to bring your own along
and you will be sent a materials list before the course.
