So professional. I will be returning soon x  Sarah Fisher Grigg, Lotions & Potions

"Thank you SO much for providing such a stimulating and fun workshop with excellent tuition.  It's so beneficial to be able to work in a small group and know that individual attention is always available, and for a workshop to be held in such a beautiful setting with plenty of space and natural lighting was very much an added bonus. Not to mention the scrummy lemon drizzle cake!!"

Frugal and Fun!
When I booked the Beginners Patchwork two-day workshop at Rowan Tree Studios I never imagined I could create a quilt from three of my husband’s old shirts and find the whole process enjoyable, but I did just that. In the company of three other beginners and under the guidance of the infinitely patient and knowledgeable Sarah we all created something satisfying and useful. I relished the idea of finding a use for all those shirts (and other worn items) not good enough for the charity shop but too good to use as rags and true to her promise, Sarah showed us how. New skills on my sewing machine and using a rotary cutter have already been used since the workshop to create a cot quilt for a friend’s baby and there are other works in progress. Sarah was right – it is addictive!   If you would like to find a use for outworn garments, learn some useful skills and have two days of laughter and good fun along the way, this is a great place to do it. Not only is the studio well equipped and comfortable but the surroundings are spectacular if you can tear yourself away from the sewing machine. And, a real consideration these days, it is extremely good value. In fact, I enjoyed myself so much I am about to book for the Intermediate Patchwork workshop.   Miranda Seagrave
