Hand Quilting & Patchwork workshops north devon

Hand patchwork & quilting is a lovely skill to learn and is a particularly relaxing form of quilting because you can do it anywhere and there is no noise from a sewing machine. Hand stitched quilts are particularly beautiful and when you make one it is a labour of love. On this one day class you will learn the basics of hand piecing as well as contemporary and traditional quilting methods, design transfer and different stitch techniques. These techniques will be used to make your own quilted cushion cover or patchwork placemat.
