Shabby Chic Furniture Painting  Like upholstery, painted furniture is increasingly
becoming popular as a way to freshen up dark antique furniture and add colour and interest to you decor. With the popularity
comes the price tag and it can cost a small fortune to buy antique effect painted furniture. During this one day workshop
you will bring a small piece of furniture to revamp such as a chair or occasional table. Using Beautiful chalk paints
and waxes you will learn how to prepare the furniture, paint it and create the distressed look at a fraction of the
cost of buying it. The morning will be spent cleaning, preparing and painting your piece and in the afternoon you will
learn some different techniques on picture frames to take home. At the end of the session you will finish your item
with a coat of wax and a sand and hopefully be able to take it home. All paints, waxes and equipment will be provided all you have to bring is your piece of furniture and an apron.
Lunch will be served as well as plenty of tea
