Craft Days Clovelly, North Devon

If you are coming to Devon for a holiday or live locally and want an interesting day out why not book a craft day or afternoon for your family, friends or company.   We are in an area of natural beauty close to the historical village of Clovelly and the rugged North Devon Coastline. All our classes come with lunch and homemade afternoon tea & cakes and include all materials & equipment leaving you to simply arrive and enjoy learning a new skill or making something lovely to take home.   Children of all ages are welcome but must be supervised, simple craft activities are available and many of the classes are suitable as we have hand powered sewing machines that are simple to use. Prices vary and the more people the cheaper the per person cost starting at approximately £70 per person for 2 people to £40-£45 per person for 7-10 people

Beginners Patchwork & Quilting Day for 2 - 7 people (more if hand stitching)
Learn the basics of patchwork & quilting and make a small project such as a table runner, placemat or dolls blanket including binding.

Applique Wall Hanging Day for 2 - 10 people
Learn to make a beautiful and unique wall hanging using hand or machine applique techniques that you will be taught. Rummage through our large stash of fabric to make a lovely reminder of your day.

Embroidered Picture Day   2 -10 people
Learn the basic stitches & techniques of embroidery and make a picture using buttons & applique to create a texture work of art.

Soap & Candle Making Day 2 - 8 people (not suitable for children under 10)
Learn how to make Cold Process Soap and Container and Pillar Candles with eco friendly Soya waxes and natural essential oils.

Natural Product Making 2-12 people Prices from £40-£70 per person depending on numbers
Learn to make a variety of natural products, Face creams, Lip Balm, Body Butter, Bath Bombs, Bath Tea, Body Powder, Sugar scrubs, bath milk and melt & pour soap. Tailor the day to suit your requirements

Shabby Chic Furniture Painting 2 - 8 people prices from £40-£70 per person depending on number
Based on our extremely popular 1 day course you will bring an item of furniture and learn the techniques to paint and distress your furniture using chalk paints, waxes and effects

Learn to Sew 3hrs 2-6 people    Prices from £20-£40 per person depending on numbers
This 3 hr workshop teaches basics of machine or hand sewing depending on your preference. You will learn the skills to make a project either on a machine or by hand. Hand crank vintage machines are available for younger children to learn on.
