Candles are not only a popular gift but also a wonderful
way to give ambiance and fragrance to your room. They can be expensive to buy but if you learn the techniques to make them
yourself you can do so at a fraction of the cost. On this 1 day course you will learn three main techniques, container candles,
pillar candles in moulds and dipped candles with beeswax.
Types of wax and the appropriate wicks for each type
of candle
Selection of containers, moulds and other equipment
Preparing & Fixing wicks to ensure good burning
Use of colour & Fragrance
Melting, pouring & dipping candles including layered candles
You will
go home with 3-4 different candles and full class notes
